Spiritual Discernment

By Dorothy K Daigle

Spiritual discernment appears difficult for many. They can't seem to grasp the unseen elements. Even Jesus' disciples seemed to have trouble with this.

Of the unseen elements such as air, oxygen, and love, what most people can grasp are the "fruits" of these elements. They know if they are suffocating or if they are not getting enough oxygen. People recognize the warm energy of love when they receive it. It has been said that newborn babies will soon die if they are not held and spoken to.

Have you seen someone come into your church with raggedy clothes or extremely baggy pants, and most people immediately go into the judgment, disapproval mode, and thereby send cold energy of judgment to the person? Did you know that God also feels the cold energy the person receives and feels? It saddens Him. We know we are judging a person when the flow of love stops.

Instead, we could overcome our feelings of disapproval and walk over to the person, and give them a warm handshake and welcome. Just think of how differently the person would feel to be accepted and welcomed. Also, that is how we get the seeds of unconditional love growing in our hearts. God would be pleased.

When Luke told us in Acts 4:12 that there was no other name (Jesus) under heaven whereby we must be saved, he lacked spiritual discernment. He apparently did not understand what Jesus (Christ) meant when he said that he was the way, truth and the life, and that no man could come unto Creator except by him.

Check out Matthew 10:19-20 where Jesus told his disciples not to worry about what they would say. He told them that the Spirit of God the Father within them would speak.

This is what happened when Jesus said that he was the way, truth and life. It was Christ the Divine Love of God speaking within him. Christ is unconditional love, and unconditional love is the only way to God.

Blessings and warm thoughts.

Spiritual teachings of unconditional love leading to eternal life are taught in the book Red Hat Speaks by Dorothy K. Daigle. Red Hat Speaks can be ordered from any bookstore for $10.95. Let's not wait too long. When the time is up, the place of our eternal destiny will be sealed.

Dorothy was taught by Cherokee elder and wisdom keeper, John Red Hat Duke, for over ten years in Keetoowah Cherokee spiritual ways, in Eastern philosophy, and in Judaism. She was raised Christian so she has a good working knowledge of Christianity. She now follows no religion, but strives to walk the Red Road spiritual path according to Jesus' teachings.

She received her call from Creator in the fall of '92, and was then taught by the great prophet Elijah for four years. She was given four assurances by Creator when He called her. She was told that she was anointed by the Holy One of Israel, that she would be protected until this work was done, that Creator would go before her whenever He sent her somewhere, and that she did not have to prove herself to anyone. She is one of God's two witnesses.
